This video (which is quite legendary), has been around for a while. But, as we have seen over the last week, the anti-gun crowd is known for not having a clue what they are talking about. This video is a perfect example of an anti-gunner (Rep. Carolyn McCarthy) wanting to ban something despite the fact that she has no idea what it is.
Notice how she makes every attempt to avoid answering the big question: What is a barrel shroud?

A barrel shroud does nothing but vent heat from the barrel, it looks menacing to an unknowing individual like this Lady with her legislative writings, it does nothing that makes the gun more deadly anymore then flash hiders, or bayonet lugs. gun control is bull-puckey it does nothing but give criminals the upper hand since only law abiding citizens choose to abide by the laws, gang members and criminals don't bother with rules. and they still manage to Illegally obtain guns and use them.
