Picked mine up in 1970 while on a mission flying the Green Berets around in my helicopter; it was made in China in 1967 [Chinese SKS's will code the year of manufacture in with the serial number. The number(s) in the million's placeholder of the serial number represent the year of manufacture. EX1: S# 2432000B = 2,432,000 = 1958 EX2: S# 18641000 = 18,641,000 = 1974] Target shooting in Vietnam, it would hit a man-sized target consistently at up to 300M; a nice standby weapon!
